Water means something different to everyone. Is it something you take for granted, or are you conscious of the water you consume and sometimes waste? After looking at the following links, create a poem on the theme of World Water Day!

WORLD WATER DAY
Life cannot be describe in one word right?
But there is one thing that is,it’s not light,
It is something you cannot touch but feel,
Something we are made out of, but real.
Twenty Second March is world water day ,
Making me realise the value it can lay,
Water is not something you can paste,
The only harm you can do it, by making it waste.
Carrying water anywhere like carrying lives in your hand,
You can find it around globe, but not in dry lands,
When there will be no water, world will be in agony and strife,
Blessed to have H2O , to be in your life.

Earth, fire, water
water the corner stone of life
sounds of running water echo through the forest
fish splish and splash through the quiet river
The scuttle shake of the trees
The cries of the frogs
The suttle sound of fish
The shrieks and laughs of the kids
The breathing of the waves
It soothes the mind
It strengths the spirit
It calms the lions
The peaceful of the forest must be mainted
It needn’t but a thought
It is but a responsibility

it is a hot sunny day
chilling in the pool.
coming back from the pool to shower
but trying not to waste the water so we can save more.
Water is cold it feels like ice
Water is hot feeling like a hot sun.
The river seems like a flow.
Fishes dying in the ocean
Ocean getting dirty
Let's clean the ocean and save water.
WATER

W – Water is like a priceless jewel from which
We cannot obtain,
We need to wet our thirsty parched lips,
For every breath of life we sustain.
A – Awareness is such a rare commodity,
In this thoughtless, callous word,
To see the waste of water,
Is truly an atrocity.
T – Together we can achieve an SDG 6,
And use all our resources for the
Scarcity of water to fix!
E – Empathy is like infinite mirrored images,
Just waiting to be reached by unfortunate folk
In distant villages.
R – Response to the call our Earth is seeking,
Without prompt action our faucets will
Continue to be leaking.

Watery Grave

Sitting down on a hot summer day
in front of me, pond filled with clay.
Lo behold, what a change, by the way
I used to swim in those waters, those were great days.
The sweltering sun, bothers me much
Drinking it all and fills it with slush.
Right next door, noise of the monsters
Guzzling from the depth, taking things that matters.
Those days, so many fishes, jumping up an about
Now all that’s left are dead Snouts.
So much life, this place gave me
Protect these things, else you have to flee.
