Power

Im a girl with power.

The world says”Nothing good happens to the

girl child but only the boy child”.

Im stuck in my room caged with my worth.

The future I foresee.

Equality will never be,

People will never see,

We women that need to flee,

The future I foresee.

A tear trickled down her cheek,

hurt by the way people speak,

We cried “weep,weep,weep!”

But we will leap!

We will not give up,

and we will erupt.

The cages that were Locked will be opened,

And never be broken.

We suffered

But we will get tougher

And accomplish the dreams

we wished to see.

SOCIAL EQUALITY

Whose person is that I think I know. Its owner is quite happy though. Full of joy like a vivid rainbow, I watch him laugh. I cry hello.

He gives his person a shake, And laughs until her bellyaches. The only other sound's the break, Of distant waves and birds awake.

The person is, and deep, But he has promises to keep, After cake and lots of sleep. Sweet dreams come to him cheap.

He rises from his gentle bed, With thoughts of kittens in his head, He eats his jam with lots of bread. Ready for the day ahead.

Hello there world

Full of inequalities and troubles

I know we’ve came so far

But alas, here we are

For all the boys and girls

Who live in this terrible world

For their eyes go “weep! ‘weep! ‘weep! ‘weep!”

As they wind down to their nightmarish sleep

From gold mines to maids

From fishnets and trade

What does the world even care for?!

Is it justice or is it fame?

At this point, I don’t even care

I know there’s no point, there’s something I could share

If you are here, right here and right now

Please spread my long-lost vow, to the stars and to the moon.

Great work Kylie, you have done a good job expressing your plight to stop inequality. You've shown that the world only cares about fame in your poem and have used repetition to add interest. Overall, it's an very interesting poem that would catch the eyes of readers.

The earth was made fair like a smooth path on a lane

but soon enough we all will end up in vain

hopefully equality will lead us away from the pain

otherwise we all will end up in grain in the grass plain

maybe just maybe we one day will be as rich as queen Jane

then we will restrain our pain hopefully they don’t leave us afar

so ahead that their careers will offend our fears

hopefully they will get rid of our tears so we all can be equal

and we can go with them so it doesn’t end up in another sequel

Children suffer here and there,

We should not act like we don't care.

Whether it's poverty or child labor

It is a must to do a favour

I want to give my all to stop the crimes

And I hope you do too to end the times

and do our best.

But of course,

Someone will stop this by force.

But soon everyone will resist.

Soon , we shall make a place which everyone will create

Later we will embrace

The many possibilities we will embrace

But soon, there will be a time when evil rise.

But if they do,

We will stop it through and through.

I hope you understand my view

We shall break out of this loop.
