The Real School Struggle
So they said to me, ‘How was school today my dear’
And I said back, ‘Well that’s a big question, let me answer it here’
First lesson was Math and oh how horrible it was!
Being asked to answer a million questions in just a minute
And that’s truly sad because
Our minds aren’t wired to operate just how you want it to
We aren’t the Sofia robot, don’t you think that’s true?
Let me tell you about the number of breakdowns we go through
Crying over a question that won’t even matter in a month or two!
Let me tell you about how many sleepless nights we get
Cramming piles and piles of homework just…
